SaveMateAI ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through savemateai.com.au, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• your email address
• your first name and state, if you choose to give them
• which bills you'd like help with, if you tick any
• how you found us (for example, the website that linked to us)

We don't ask for your bank details, bills or financial information on this website.

How we use it

• to email you about SaveMateAI's launch, early access and important updates
• to understand which features people want most, so we build the right things first

We will never sell your personal information. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask to be removed at any time.

Where it's stored

Waitlist details are stored securely with our database provider, Supabase, and the website is hosted by Vercel. These providers may store data on servers outside Australia. We only give them what they need to run the service, and access to the waitlist is restricted to us.

Keeping it safe

The waitlist can only be added to from the website. It can't be read or changed publicly. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy as SaveMateAI grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
